In the field of small yellow flowers
This short film is a solo project and visual diary that explores the themes of solitude and loneliness, an emotion often associated with the mountains. The narrator recounts a conversation with a little boy, that questioned the grey line between solitude and loneliness.
'In a field of small yellow flowers' is a cinematic film, Created during a multi-day expedition, that shows the abrupt weather changes and appearance of large mist banks out of nowhere. In just a few minutes, a powerful, robust landscape would disappear right before you under a blanket of elusive mist. Something so enormous and solid could completely vanishing around you, as if the world momentarily ceased to exist. And where the world pauses, a blank canvas for changes emerges. But it also creates a sense of loneliness when you lose connection with the world around you.
A dramatic performance by nature of misbalance and power, that captures the meaning of solitude.
